A Quick NBA Live 2010 Video Game Review For PlayStation And Xbox

The following is an NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. One of EA Sport's most popular PlayStation and Xbox games is NBA Live. Numerous basketball video games are released each year and NBA Live's version seems to always be among the main front runners. The last edition is no different with its user input, animations, and high quality graphics. The last NBA Live version has received positive reviews.

NBA Live 10 has bonus jerseys, a very first for these games. Vintage jerseys from the 80s and 90s were included as well as numerous alternate uniforms for many of NBA teams. Using bonus codes, even more jerseys and throwback shoes can be used. It is questionable if every NBA team will get new game uniforms but two bonus codes have been unlocked so far and more are probably coming.

The graphics in this game received a massive overhaul. The game features quicker and smoother animations that allow for maximum play. Items like the lights and courts were designed to look very realistic. It's a bit grainy when enhanced on plasma screens but generally looks extremely well.

The players, the background, and other smaller graphics are also more detailed. This year's game has a more realistic background, unlike the previous installments. Crowd members were designed to look and sound more lifelike and real. The players themselves were made with more personal and exact details such as personal accessories, hairstyles, and tattoos. The stars in this year's edition were made to be easily recognizable than previous ones. The controls of the game were slightly altered so that controlling the individual players 100 percent of the time isn't necessary. This auto mode can sometimes result in more turnovers during game play though. It is possible for the control over the players to be expanded if you want to though. The game play is simple enough so that even people who have never played a basketball game can quickly get the hang of it. Actions like shooting and passing are both single button functions. And both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers use the right joy stick to move the basketball players. Playing defense is simple as well, simply position your player near one from the other team and he will do the rest automatically.

The player's DNA update of the past games' system has improved significantly as well. This year's edition updated the DNA of individual player's attributes and tendencies instantly. This game also will allow its users to play games as they happen almost as fast in real life. With the teams' line ups and game rosters instantly updating in this game, the Dynasty Mode is much more advanced and realistic. This version's soundtrack was revamped and updated to more current artists and bands. This year, there are a lot more songs, which drastically cuts down on the redundancy of music during the training mode and games. The tracks were even programmed to react to the tempo of the games to get the user more involved.

Playstation 3 Will Also Support Three-dimensional Blu-ray

I just hit my head around the ceiling after reading this: The Blu-ray Disc Association has announced that the Playstation 3 are planning to be completely compatible with 3D standards. It is incredible news for PS3 owners, who will not need to shell out cash for a new player for 3D motion pictures. According within the newly-released specs, Sony's console will play movement pictures in 3D 1080p, though functioning with any and each and each kind of 3D display. That involves LCD, plasma and projection in full HD, even even though permitting for 2D playback on both current and 3D players. Adding to the enjoyable will be 3D menus and navigation, giving Playstation 3 owners the full futuristic experience.

The crazier aspect is that most current Blu-ray players won't support 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player will most likely be useless, while you will appreciate PS3 games and 3D films on your exisiting console. It's confident to piss off those owners but you will not hear me complaining. Certainly you will even now require to acquire a Television to assist the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D movies yet, but further announcements are beneficial to follow. Throughout the meantime, PS3 owners can rest easy and look forward towards long term of watching 3D movies with their console. It also adds bragging rights towards PS3-Xbox 360 debate and offers present Blu-ray proprietors some thing to whine about.

So, PS3 proprietors... Excited? And knowing this, will you acquire a Television to assist 3D movies? Be sure to take a look at Playstation 3 gaming arenas. They've everything from NBA 10 to Fight Night Round 4 and plenty of live video games opponents waiting for your challenge. Begin playing!
